Live trainings
Our in-person or virtual trainings are the fastest way to get more value from Foundry.
Unlock Foundry's full potential
Palantir Foundry stands out as a transformative platform that empowers organizations to harness the full power of their data. But to fully benefit from everything Foundry has to offer, your team needs more than just a basic understanding — they need in-depth, expert-led training that’s as dynamic as the platform itself. That's where our live training workshops come into play.

Taylor helps Palantir customers and partners get more out of Foundry.
During the five years I worked for Palantir, I deployed Foundry to commercial and government customers across a wide range of industries — including healthcare, transportation, media, finance, and manufacturing.
What people have to say
Our trainings are hands-on, not lectures
Our trainings are hands-on. Participants spend the majority of training time building things in Foundry, not listening to lectures.
Data Engineers build real pipelines. Consultants build real analyses and reports. Application Developers build real ontologies and apps.
Our learn-by-doing approach ensures that participants gain experience using Foundry the way it’s meant to be used in the context of realistic day-to-day workflows.
Dedicated Foundry training instance
Ontologize trainings take place in Ontologize’s Foundry instance. Each organization gets its own training sandbox, thereby ensuring privacy and security.
Realistic notional data
All data used in trainings is notional data generated solely for educational purposes. This data is specially created to enhance the learning experience.
For example, the notional data may be intentionally dirty, requiring participants to use Foundry’s data engineering tools to clean it up as they build data pipelines. Or, the data may exhibit some particular anomaly that participants will uncover as they analyze the data and build reports.
Most importantly, our notional data is designed to support a realistic Ontology to enable pedagogically effective lessons on Ontology design, application development, analytics, and more.
When applicable, participants will integrate data from real source systems such as Snowflake, S3, SharePoint, BigQuery, Azure Blob Storage, Redshift, etc.
In-person or virtual
We offer live trainings either in-person or virtually.
In-person
In-person trainings take place on-site at your organization. In-person trainings offer a more immersive experience for participants and are ideal for preparing people to use Foundry as quickly as possible.
Virtual
Virtual trainings cover the same curriculum as in-person trainings. Whereas in-person trainings last all day, virtual trainings take place in half-day sessions. This increases engagement compared to full-day virtual sessions and allows time for participants to practice what they learn in between training sessions. Half-day sessions also make it feasible to span different timezones.
Scheduling
Reach out to us to discuss scheduling a training. We can be flexible with training scheduling and we are usually able to accommodate last-minute scheduling requests.
In-person scheduling
In-person trainings take place over consecutive all-day sessions. For example, you could book a three-day in-person training for Monday through Wednesday of a single week.
Virtual scheduling
Virtual trainings take place over half-day consecutive or non-consecutive sessions. For example, you could book the same three-day training for virtual delivery during the mornings of Thursday and Friday each week over the course of three weeks. Or you could book it for the mornings of Monday through Wednesday for two weeks.
Pricing
Ontologize trainings are priced on a per-participant per-day basis. Trainings are priced the same regardless of topic.
In-person trainings are $1,480 per-participant per-day for locations in North America. In-person trainings outside North America will incur an additional flat fee. Virtual trainings are $1,080 per-participant per-day.
Participants
All trainings require a 12-participant minimum. The maximum number of simultaneous participants is 30. Larger trainings for up to 120 participants can be arranged on a case-by-case basis.
If your organization needs to train fewer than 12 people, we offer shared trainings when there is sufficient demand. For example, if three different organizations each need to train four people, they could participate in a combined training. Reach out to us if this is relevant for your team.
AWS marketplace
Ontologize trainings may be purchased directly from Ontologize or they may be purchased via the AWS marketplace. Your organization may be eligible to allocated pre-committed AWS spend toward Ontologize trainings.
The option to purchase through Google Cloud and Azure Marketplaces is coming soon.
